Hello, bonjour, ciao, hola, cześć, guten tag, yassas, kon'nichiwa and welcome to the Be Well blog!


So, it's January 2021, I am writing from England so it's cold and wet, and yesterday I sprained my ankle for the second time in 6 months. So, I thought what better way to spend my recovery time in bed than sharing my some of my life with others online?


You may have already seen the about page, but if you haven't, I am an aspiring psychotherapist who currently supports young people. I love my job and I love my life but as a human being I also struggle with poor mental health. I mean, it's not particularly difficult to struggle, whilst living in this time. We are in the middle of a pandemic, isolated from our loved ones, the planet and its inhabitants are on fire, and for some reason we seem to be more divided that ever as a species!


But it's not all bad, there is a lot to look forward to and a lot that we can all do to help ourselves, our loved ones and the planet. I want this blog to be a positive escape from our sometimes negative lives. A place to share your experiences, hear mine and get some tips on ways to feel a bit better. But please remember that this blog is not a replacement for therapy or treatment.


Wellbeing is more important than ever. This doesn't mean we have to be perfect all the time, just conscious of what we can do to improve our mental and physical health. For some people this may be running a marathon and for others this could just mean getting out of bed.


Let's Strive For Wellbeing.
